Don’t forget our extended opening hours on bank holidays and in the school holidays.
Please also bear in mind on which days the museum is closed.
The shop always has the same opening hours as the museum.
Extended opening hours in the school holidays
In the Baden-Württemberg school holidays (Easter, Whitsun, summer, autumn half term and Christmas), we are open from 11 am to 6 pm Thursday to Friday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. ***

Updating...Special opening hours for groups
We offer extended opening hours for large groups, school groups, clubs and bus tours (when booked in advance) Monday to Wednesday and on Thursday and Friday mornings. Tours can be provided on request. Tours last approx. 1 hour and are followed by a 20 min. film from Brazil. You should plan a total of 2 hours to visit the museum and take a tour. Usually, it is possible to join an existing group. Please contact us to book in your group.
